1964 This is another nice example! This alto sax was fully engraved at the request of the previous owner by a very good craftsman. It looks spectacular and I think it's beautiful, such a horn full of tattoos. It is from 1964, but there is so little of the silver plating that I suspect that it was mainly for decoration. The mechanism is in exceptionally good condition and the instrument was overhauled by a good craftsman just before I bought it. I don't have to do much about that anymore. It sounds great: full and clear, nicely even and super easy intonation. That also depends a bit on the series from which it originates: this is one from the longbow series. Now that is a nice fact, but in practice that usually doesn't tell me much, they all turn out differently. In this case, this saxophone fulfills the theoretical story https:www.legendary-saxophones.com/en/faq/%E2%8B%85-what-is-the-meaning-of-long-bow-medium-bow-short -bow/
