From the archive: Selmer Mvi
1974 a good late Mark VI tenor sax from a good professional saxophonist, overhauled by me a few years ago. The saxophone has been completely disassembled, the pads have been soaked with leather soap and are still like new. Three have been replaced beforehand: still in good condition but with some water damage. The instrument is reassembled, closes perfectly and there is no play on this instrument yet. The cork on the neck has been replaced, but the photos are before the turn. It is an instrument with a nice full and round sound, not a typical tear iron. It blows very easily and intones by itself.
