1973 This Mark VI belonged to a customer of mine. There is almost no paint left on it and it has acquired a beautiful green patina. The body is tight and the mechanism smooth and without play. It was overhauled a few years ago and had an extensive service with me last year. It has just been fully checked again and is running like the fire brigade. The pads are in very good condition and all cork and felt were replaced by me last year. It has one hell of a sound: full and clear, but not sharp. Unless you want to, because he is sharp. When you accelerate, this instrument has an enormous volume. Always easy when you're standing next to noisemakers. In short: a Mark VI on the right side of the line.
