This is also a Yamaha tenor that is very popular with both beginners and more advanced players. This model is often used by advanced players as a reliable 'back-up' model. Vintage but still up-to-date with pleasant applications and very solid construction. Teachers almost always recommend starting on a Yamaha and will be happy if you come to saxophone lessons with this instrument. But you will also enjoy this instrument afterwards.
