From the archive: (Used) 'Adolphe Sax' Baritone Made By Selmer Circa.1929

Selmer made 'Adolphe Sax' made by Selmer Paris shortly after their acquisition of the Adolphe Sax factory The finish was likely applied later in it's life and is a gorgeous 'honey gold' color wearing thin and pitted in places giving the sax an overall patina consistent with a horn heavily steeped in history.Having had a full overhaul, the horn is playing very well and boasts an incredibly warm 'vintage' sound that is seldom achieved by modern instruments. There are some signs of previous damage and repair (see photos of the top bow) but everything is functioning perfectly and all existing issues have been addressed. It seems that the G# key has been modified to a much larger, more comfortable sizeBody serial number 112*** Bell serial 844Keyed to low Bb
