1967 If any saxophone can be labeled as ugly or beautiful, it is this one. It has stood still for a long time in a damp environment and that has left its traces on the paint: he developed skin cancer. The paint, if present, has become dark and crackled. I think it's beautiful, but you might as well call it ugly. The instrument was difficult to disassemble but turned out to be physically undamaged. In the end it turned out to be a great saxophone. It plays super easy and sounds very good: clear and open and with a lot of volume. Buffet's intonation is always trouble-free, which is nice too.
