From the archive: Conn 16 M
1957 Fine 16M tenor with a nice mild sound. This tenor from 1957 has a very easy blow and has a nice intimate and warm, round sound at a somewhat lower volume. Intonates excellent. This makes it excellent for jazz music, but also for the harmony/fanfare world. If you want to play rock hard funk you have to put in a lot of effort to make it pop, but although that is less obvious with this instrument, you will eventually succeed. A high-quality instrument for a relatively modest price.
