From the archive: Conn 28M Constellation

The Conn Connstellation 28M alto saxophone is a rare sight. This model was made between 1948 and 1952 and is made very differently from all other Conn saxophones. For example, the Conn 28M has an underslung octave mechanism and a unique mechanism. Each valve sits on an axle. The entire sax therefore has no point screws: you very rarely see that! In addition, each valve has a separate adjustment mechanism. The action, or operation, is known as super light. The sound of this special alto saxophone will not disappoint you either. Feel free to try it out in our store! Any questions about this Conn 28M Connstellation alto saxophone? Contact our blowing department by mail or telephone: (+31) (0)165 54 58 24. Or visit our store in Roosendaal! All second-hand instruments are professionally checked before sale and, if necessary, completely overhauled in our own workshop. Checking saxophones means that the keys are adjusted, the shafts oiled, the pads cleaned and that the instrument is played all the way through. In case of overhaul, the saxophone is completely disassembled and rebuilt, with new pads and corks. That is why we offer a standard 1 year warranty and 1 year free service and maintenance on our used saxophones, just like on our new saxophones. With an occasion saxophone from Van Gorp you know for sure that you are in the right place! Of course, our occasion saxophones can be tested in our store without obligation. Our employees are happy to give you expert advice when selecting an instrument.
