1957 This is the most beautiful instrument the Kohlert company ever built. It is a beautiful, dark colored vintage instrument with many beautiful details. It is a Kohlert 57 in every detail and normally that is also engraved on the cup, this is not the case with this one. It fits comfortably in the hand, runs smoothly, has a nice intonation and sounds great. The sound is large, smooth and clear without becoming sharp. A beautiful saxophone!
