From the archive: Selmer Mvi

1971 This is a Mark VI where the previous owner had a solid silver neck made by Karsten Gloger (https:www.gloger-handkraft.com/) He was looking for some more power and edge in the sound and has that with this neck too found it. The original neck also sounds good by the way, but a bit rounder. There used to be a pick-up microphone in it, and that hole has been closed with a brass patch. The future owner can always decide to sell one of the 2 necks, there is a large market for that. I'll keep them both for now, gives more choice. The instrument was overhauled by me 2 years ago and has just had a major service. A top saxophone in top condition!
