Just in; this saxophone will be completely overhauled before delivery! This Yamaha YAS-62 occasion is designed for the demanding advanced musician and falls into the professional class. An iconic model which initially came on the market as YAS-61 in 1967 and still has many enthusiasts. The reinforced rib construction (didn't have the 61 yet) provides even more dynamics and warmth in the sound. This example dates from the early years of the - much sought-after - 62 series and is therefore a real vintage instrument. Characteristic of this vintage version is the "J-Bracket" over the B, B flat, C sharp and C valve, which the later models of the 62 no longer have. Important features are:Easy blowing ("free blowing")Super intonationPleasant application (the keys are in a logical place for your fingers)DurableStable adjustmentsMaintenance-friendlyValue retentionWarm full sound Very good price/quality ratioAll Yamaha's from the YAS-6 series have the above properties and are therefore also very popular with professional saxophonists (and demanding amateurs) who wish to purchase a top instrument with Japanese accuracy and build quality for a relatively low price. All mentioned YAS-61 and YAS-62 models have a key for the high F sharp, regardless of the age of the instrument.
