50xxx 1953 Selmer SBA Super Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone American Engraved Relacquered

SBA Tenor Fans Fans! This a truly terrific sounding Selmer SBA Tenor Saxophone 50xxx Serial Number! It has a fantastic wide open sound great intonation and that classic husky thick Selmer Super Balanced Action Tone! This horn is definitely a players horn and not a collectible museum piece and has been Re-lacquered in the past. The action is very comfortable and quick too. It was Hand Made in Paris France in 1953 and was sent to the USA to be hand assembled and Engraved! This Tenor Does have the Original Neck with Matching 50xxx Serial Number but does show some signs of repaired Neck pull down (this doesnt appear to affect the tone or intonation of the horn and plays wide open). The pads are fresh and have been water proofed in red coating and this tenor seals from top to bottom perfectly. It has no bad dents damages and it is gig ready out of the box!
