Conn 6M Ladyface
In remarkably good condition, in bare brass version. This is one without the rolled tone holes. It was built mid-1949. It's a terrific horn to play, very free blowing! Lots of power and a full sound.Condition : Completely overhauled by previous owner in 2020, using black Roopads with Maestro Airtight resonators. All springs were renewed as well. The horn has all the original cellulose rollers. All locking screws are present: some were renewed with modern ones.The body has no significant dents: theres only one shallow dent on the bottom bow. The low E flat keyguard was resoldered: good job done here. The horn was not buffed so the beautiful Ladyface engraving is sharp, as well as the serial number info. The neck has no pulldown, only some light pings.
