Conn 6M VIII Ladyface
General description : Here we have one of the pre-war 6M VIII models with serial 285674, build early 1939. The 6M VIII model was introduced early 1937 and has a slightly different neck compared to the standard 6M. Highly sought after, as these 6Ms are supposed to have the best intonation. A pristine example is hard to find these days. This one definitely has the original lacquer, with the usual wear on body and keywork. It has a unique vintage look. The Ladyface engraving is well visible.Condition : The body is in great shape, with only one dent on the bottom bow. There are a couple of pings on the bow section, as well as a solder repair on the low Eb keyguard. All locking screws and original amber rollers are present. The microtuner works great.Warranty : As-is, no warranty.Level : professional.Body : Lacquer : original lacquer, with lacquer wear.Condition : excellent.Visual : One dent on bottom bow.Repairs : one solder repair on low Eb keyguard .Engraving : Very nice Ladyface engraving.Keywork : Lacquer : original lacquer, with lacquer wear.Condition : excellent.Pads : Cionn Reso-pads, in good condition.Neck : lacquer : original lacquer, with lacquer wear.Condition : Minor pulldown.
