Conn 6M VIII Ladyface

This is the famous Conn 6M VIII 'Ladyface' alto sax. In remarkably good condition, with a typical vintage look. Original lacquer, with the usual lacquer wear on body and keywork. It's a terrific horn to play, very free blowing! Lots of power, fast ergonomic keywork and a full sound, as can be expected from these horns. The VIII model is the best of the best and can withstand all tests with any saxophone. Furthermore, this is a WWII-horn, build in December 1942. Only a couple of saxes were built during the war, as Conn was producing military equipment then...... Highly sought after and still played by professional players these days. ....Condition : Overhauled by previous owner early 2019.Warranty : as-is condition : no warranty.Level : professional.Body : Lacquer : original lacquer, with lacquer wear and pitting.Condition : very good, with normal wear and tear .Visual : no damage.
