From the archive: Martin Indiana

1952 I overhauled this Indiana about 4 years ago and loaned it to an elderly former musician for a while. It hasn't been played much since and now it's back, the pads still like new. Playing the saxophone became too hard for him. It's a horn from 1952 and it's certainly not Mother's prettiest. But that also has something to do with such a device that plays well and sounds good. And this one most certainly does. It sounds full fat, big and direct. A super good ugly for a modest budget.
